New York based design label, Dsecond, was founded in 2016 by Japanese designer Kazuya Kubo who was raised in Hokkaido Japan. The designer was a co-founder of design collectives, D2 specializing in interior decors which were deeply inspired by relics from American antiquity.
As one of the collectives, he started making one of a kind of clothing with vintage fabric he has had sourced and collected from markets. After years of creations, he decided to start his clothing line, Dsecond.
Fabrics are selected carefully and applied to each item based on a study of a juxtaposition of color and texture.
Particular but distinctive proportions and silhouettes are created by renovating them successively.
